Dr. Julia Abdelmalak
Veterinarian
Becoming a veterinarian was always her dream. She has always loved animals, science and connecting with people.
Dr. Julia graduated from the faculty of veterinary medicine at Cairo University in Egypt in 1998.
In 2016, she obtained her certification of qualification from the Canadian Veterinary Medical Association (CVMA) and the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) to practice veterinary medicine in Canada.
Dr Julia enjoys the challenge of never knowing what cases will present on any particular day as it keeps her engaged and, on her toes, as it allows her to develop deeper connections through conversation with clients about their beloved pets. As much as she enjoys the challenging cases, she also loves the opportunity to spend time with puppies and kittens to sneak in a few extra cuddles and ensure they have the best possible care as they join their new families.
She lives in Langley with her husband, two daughters, and a chocolate Labrador named Cairo.
While not in clinic, Dr Julia enjoys spending time at local parks, recreation activity centers and listening to music .
